Indian Navy invites Engineering students to join the Indian Navy as Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officers in Technical / Executive Branches under University Entry Scheme (UES) for Final and Pre-final year Students Course Commencing - June - 2019. Applications are invited from unmarried Indian Citizens for grant of Permanent Commission (PC) in Executive (GS) and Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Technical / Executive and Submarine Technical Branches of Indian Navy under University Entry Scheme (UES) for course commencing June-2019
Name of post: Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer
Educational Qualification: Applicant should be studying in Engineering in AICTE approved College / Institution with one of the following disciplines and should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks
Age limit: candidates to be born between 02 July 1995 to 01 July 1998 both dates inclusive.
Physical Standards :
Height and Weight- Minimum height Male - 157 cms, Female - 152 cms, with correlated weight.
EyeSight - The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/12, 6/12 correctable to 6/6 with glasses. Should not be color/night blind.
Pay: Level 10 of 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix Rs. 56100-110700 plus MSP Rs. 15500/-
SELECTION PROCEDURE
The eligible candidates will have to undergo Naval Campus Selection process. The Candidates qualifying the campus interview will be shortlisted for SSB interview on the basis of his/her preference for the entry, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria for particular entry. In case of excess candidates, IHQ-MoD (Navy) reserves the right to further shortlist and fix cut-off percentage.
Candidates shortlisted during campus interview will be called for SSB interview at Bangalore/Bhopal/Coimbatore/Visakhapatnam/Kolkata between Dec 18 to Apr 19. Selected candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their E-mail as provided by candidates in their application form.
