1. Jr. Asstt. (H.Q.)
No of posts: 09 (OBC/MOBC-2, UR-7)
Education Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University of any examination declared equivalent by the Government.

2. Jr. Asstt. (District)
No of posts: 26 (UR-14, OBC/MOBC- 12)
Education Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University of any examination declared equivalent by the Government.

3. Stenographer
No of posts: 01 (UR)
Education Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University of any examination declared equivalent by the Government.

4. Computer
No of posts: 01 (UR)
Education Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University of any examination declared equivalent by the Government.

5. Asstt. Enforcement Inspector
No of posts: 08 (UR-3, STP-1, OBC/MOBC- 04)
Education Qualification: 10+2 (intermediate/ HSSLC) from a recognized Board of any examination declared equivalent by the Government.

6. Enforcement Checker
No of posts: 08 (UR-3, STP-1, OBC/MOBC-4)
Education Qualification: Class 10 (HSLC) from a recognized Board of any examination declared equivalent by the Government.

Age : The candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 43 years of age on the 1st day of January’ 2018. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, and in respect of ex-servicemen, age limit is relaxable by two years. The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation / HSLC Admit Card / Certificate issued by a recognized Board / Council. No other document shall be accepted in lieu thereof for the purpose.

How to apply:

1. The application will be received District wise in all District Transport Officer’s office throughout the State on all working days upto the last day of receipt.
2. In case of Kamrup (Metro) District, the application will be received in the District Transport Officer’s office Kamrup (R&L), Betkuchi, Guwahati.
3. The application will have to be submitted to the District Transport Office of the District from where the candidates desire to appear.
4. Applicants should have registered their names in any of the Employment Exchanges of the State of Assam and valid registered number should be indicated on the application with self-attested copies of Employment Exchange registration Card.
5. Application found incomplete and which does not conform to the requisite qualification or found to contain false, misrepresentation shall be rejected

The application must be accompanied by the following documents.
(i) Three copies of recent passport size photograph and duly signed by the candidates indicating his/her full name on the back side of the photograph.
(ii) A copy of age certificate / which may be birth certificate / HSLC Certificate duly attested.
(iii) Educational qualification certificate duly attested.
(iv) Caste certificate for reserved category candidates duly attested.
(v) Self-addressed postage paid to envelop of 10"X 4.5" size.
(vi) Employment Exchange registration Card duly attested.
