The Assam Power Distribution Company Limited invites applications from the Professional candidates for filling up of 1 (one) post of Deputy General Manager (F&A) and 4 (four) posts of Assistant General Manager (FM) against the vacancies in the Finance and Accounts wing of APDCL.
1. Deputy General Manager (F&A)

Eligibility, Qualification & Experience:
1) Candidates must be a domicile of Assam and should have proficiency in local language of Assam.
2) Candidate for the post of Deputy General Manager (F&A) must possess a degree from a recognized University and must be Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or 2 (two) years full time, MBA / PGDM degree, with specialization in Finance, from a University / Institution, approved by AICTE. He must possess post qualification experience in financial and accounting work of not less than 5 (five) years in a responsible position in Central / State Public Sector undertakings or in any large organization of repute.
3) Candidate for the post of Assistant General Manager (F&A) must possess a degree from a recognized University and must be Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or 2 (two) years full time, MBA / PGDM degree, with specialization in Finance, from a University / Institution, approved by AICTE. He must possess post qualification experience in financial and accounting work of not less than 3 (three) years in a responsible position, in any large organization of repute and capable of holding independent charge of Accounts.
4) The experience will be considered as on 01-01-2017.
Age: The candidates shall not be less than 21 (Twenty-one) years and not more than 45 (forty-five) years as on 01-01-2017. The upper age limits relaxable to the extent of 52 (fifty-two) years, in the case of highly experienced candidates.
Pay and Allowances:
a) For Deputy General Manager (F&A): Pay Band Rs.42,000/- to Rs.1,16,000/- and Grade Pay (17,400/- plus DA as admissible from time to time and
any other allowances as per Company's rule.
b) For Assistant General Manager (F&A): Pay Band: Rs.37,300/- to Rs.1,12,000/- and Grade Pay Rs.16,600/- plus DA as admissible from time to time and any other allowances as per Company's rule.
Application Fee: Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of SC, ST(P) & ST(H) categories) should be submitted along with the application in the form of Bank Draft/ IPO, to be pledged in favor of Chief General Manager (FM), APDCL, Guwahati-781001.
How to apply: Those, who are already in service in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Public Sector undertakings fulfilling the above qualification must apply through proper channel. Those who do not possess the above qualifications, as well as eligibility criteria, they need not apply. The candidates who have applied for the above posts with reference to the advertisement published in the Assam Tribune dated 23-06-2017 & 10-05-2018, are not required to apply again. The interested candidates may apply with Full Bio-data with attested copies of required certificates and testimonials along with two recent passport size photographs must reach the Chief General Manager (HRA), APDCL, Bijulee Bhawan, Guwahati-1 on or before 30th June 2018.
