Dibrugarh University is invited interested candidates for A Walk-in-interview will be held on 09/10/2018 at 10.00 A.M. in the Bhojraj Seth Conference Hall of the Vice-Chancellor's Office, D.U. for 02(two) posts of Assistant  Professor on contract basis in the Department of Life Sciences, Dibrugarh University with the following qualification.

Post No. (1):

Name of The Post: Assistant  Professor

Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences(Botany)/ M.Sc. Botany(minimum 55% marks).  Preference will be given to the candidates having NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D. under UGC Regulations 2009.

Specialization: Open. Candidates with expertise in Cytogenetics and Plant Breeding/ Plant Physiology/Plant Pathology will be given preference.

Post No. (2):

Name of The Post: Assistant  Professor

Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences(Zoology)/ M.Sc. Zoology (minimum 55% marks). Preference will be given to the candidates having NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D. under UCC Regulations 2009.

Specialization: Open. Candidates with expertise in Animal Physiology/Reproductive Physiology will be given preference.

Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month (Consolidated). [for those who have either NET/GATE/ SET or Ph.D.] and Rs. 20,000/- per month (Consolidated) [For those without either NET/ GATE-ISET or Ph.D.]

Fee: The candidate shall be required to pay an amount of Rupees Two Hundred (Rs. 200/-) only as Registration Fee.
