IBPS RRB CRP VII 2018 Notification : Officer (Scale-I, II & III) & Office Assistant [10190 Posts]

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), The online examination for the next Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (CRP RRBs VII) for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively between August and October 2018.

1. Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager)
No of posts: 160 posts 

Age (As on 01.06.2018):
Above 21 years - Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1978 and later than 31.05.1997 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy.

2. Officer Scale-II (Manager) (General Banking Officer)
No of posts : 1208 posts

Age (As on 01.06.2018):
Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1986 and later than 31.05.1997 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having a degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy.

3. Officer Scale-II (Manager) (Information Technology Officer)
No of posts : 81 posts

Age (As on 01.06.2018):
Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1986 and later than 31.05.1997 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.

4. Officer Scale-II  (Manager) (Chartered Accountant)
No of posts : 21 posts  

Age (As on 01.06.2018):
Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1986 and later than 31.05.1997 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification:
Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

5. Officer Scale-II  (Manager) (Treasury Manager)
No of posts : 17 posts

Age (As on 01.06.2018):
Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1986 and later than 31.05.1997 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification:
Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution.

6. Officer Scale-II  (Manager) (Marketing Officer)
No of posts : 38 posts

Age (As on 01.06.2018):
Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1986 and later than 31.05.1997 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification:
MBA in Marketing from a recognized university.

7. Officer Scale-II  (Manager) (Agriculture Officer)
No of posts : 72 posts

Age (As on 01.06.2018):
Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1986 and later than 31.05.1997 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

8. Officer Scale-II  (Manager) (Law Officer)
No of posts: 32 posts

Age (As on 01.06.2018):
Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1986 and later than 31.05.1997 (both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualification:
Degree from a recognized University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

9. Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager)
No of posts: 3312 posts 

Age (As on 01.06.2018):
Above 18 years - Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1988 and later than 31.05.2000 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification:
i. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent Preference will be given to the candidates having a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy;
ii. Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s.
iii. Desirable: working knowledge of Computer.


10. Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
No of posts: 5249 posts

Age (As on 01.06.2018):
Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.06.1990 and later than 01.06.2000 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
(a) Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s.
(b) Desirable: Working knowledge of Computer

Age  relaxations:
The maximum age limit specified above is applicable to General Category candidates only. For other categories the following relaxations would apply:

a) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe: 5 years
b) Other Backward Classes: 3 years

c) Persons With Benchmark Disability as defined under “The Rights of Persons With Disabilities Act, 2016”: 10 years

Preliminary Exam Center: Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Jorhat, Kokrajhar, Silchar, Tezpur.
Main Exam Center: Guwahati, Silchar.

Application Fee: 
Application Fees/ Intimation Charges (Online payment from 08.06.2018 to 02.07.2018 both dates inclusive)

Officer (Scale I, II & III): 
- Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- Rs. 600/- for all others

Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 
- Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates.
- Rs. 600/- for all others

Selection Process:
a) Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Regional Rural Banks listed at (A) as Group “A”-Officers (Scale- I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose), is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP for RRBs-VII). 

b) For the posts of Officers Scale I and Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) the examination will be two-tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, preliminary and main. 

c) Candidates who apply for the post of Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) will be provisionally allotted on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the Main examination and the vacancies reported by the RRBs. 

d) For the post of Officers Scale I, candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for the Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority. 

e) Candidates who apply for Scale-II (Generalist and Specialists) and Scale III will appear for a single online examination and shortlisted candidates in the single examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with the appropriate authority.

How to apply: 
A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However, a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.

Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees/intimation charges separately for each post.

Candidates can apply online only from 08.06.2018 to 02.07.2018 and no other mode of application will be accepted.
