Online applications are invited for the post of Junior Assistant in the office of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council from eligible intending candidates who are citizens of India (as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India).

 31 including reservation for ST(P), SC, ST(H), OBC/MOBC and Differently abled as per Govt. rules.

Educational qualification : 

 Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board/Council with 6 months’ Certificate Course in Computer Skills from recognized Institution with proficiency in Assamese and English typing.

Selection Process:- 

Candidates will be selected on the basis of

1-Written Exam

2-Personal Interview

Age:

 Must not be less than 18 years and not more than 44 years as on 1.6.2018. Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 2 years in case of Ex-serviceman. 

Pay: 

 Pay Scale of Rs.14,000-49,000/- p.m. (PB-2) and Grade Pay of Rs.6200/- p.m. plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.

Application Fee : 

 Application fees of Rs.350/- (Rupees three hundred fifty) only is to be deposited through Net-banking/Debit Card/Credit Card etc. In case of SC/ST candidates 50% of the fee will be applicable (Rs. 175/-only).
